There is no single best tool, because these tools do different jobs. If you want the widest local SEO suite with citations and scheduled rank reports, BrightLocal is the usual pick. If all you need is a geo-grid rank map, Local Falcon is built for exactly that. Brands with hundreds of locations tend to land on Yext or Birdeye. And if the job is the day-to-day work on the Google profile itself, plus getting a suspended profile back and fake reviews taken down, that is what we built GMB Helper.ai for.
The short version
| Tool | Best for | Starting price | Priced by |

| BrightLocal | A full local SEO suite with citations and rank tracking | $41 for 1 location, $31 billed annually | Location, in bands |
| Semrush Local | Businesses that already use Semrush | $30 per location, billed annually | Location |

What to compare before you choose
The work on a Google Business Profile falls into three kinds. There is the weekly work: replying to reviews, posting photos and updates, keeping the details right. There is watching: knowing when something on the profile changed and where it ranks. And there is recovery: what happens when Google suspends the profile, a wave of fake reviews lands, or Google asks for verification again. Almost every tool here covers the first kind, most cover some of the second, and very few touch the third. Decide which of the three you are actually paying for before you compare prices.
- Pricing model. Per location pricing is simple for one business and expensive for a hundred. Price the plan at the number of profiles you expect to have in a year, not today.
- Who approves replies. AI review replies are standard now. What differs is whether negative reviews can wait for a person while the rest post on their own.
- Rank tracking. A geo-grid scan shows where a profile ranks across its service area. Some tools run scans on a schedule and send a report; others run them when you ask.
- Citations. If listings on Apple, Bing, Yelp, and other directories are part of the job, you need a tool that builds or syncs them.
- Recovery. Ask each vendor what happens on the day a profile is suspended. For most tools the answer is a help article.
- White-label. Agencies that sell under their own brand need the tool to carry their name, and ideally their domain.
The tools, one by one
GMB Helper.ai
This one is ours. GMB Helper.ai runs the weekly work on each profile: a drafted reply for every review in the business’s voice, with the choice of posting every reply, posting only 4 and 5 star replies, or holding all of them for approval; photos and update posts on a schedule per location; and a daily comparison of each profile against Google, with an alert that names what changed. Where it differs is recovery. A suspended profile gets a reinstatement case that checks the documents against the profile and the website, drafts the appeal, and files it on Google’s form from your browser. Fake reviews are reported with the policy named and appealed when Google says no. Verification gets the code sent or the video planned shot by shot. Map Rankings runs geo-grid scans when you ask rather than on a schedule, and it does not build citations. Plans start at $99 a month for one profile; agency plans are $399 for 10 profiles, $1,499 for 100, and $4,999 for 500, with a 7-day free trial and no card.
BrightLocal
BrightLocal is the broadest suite here. Every plan includes geo-grid rank tracking and white-label, citation building is pay as you go from $2 per citation, and Active Sync keeps listings on Google, Apple, Bing, Facebook, and Yelp in line and alerts you to bad edits. GBP posting starts on the Manage plan; AI review replies, review monitoring across 80 plus sites, and review requests by email or SMS need the Grow plan. Pricing is per location in bands: one location is $41, $54, or $65 a month for Track, Manage, and Grow, and 91 to 100 locations is $524, $769, or $989 a month, with 25 percent off for annual billing and a 14-day trial without a card. You can flag reviews that break the rules, but there is no workflow for suspensions.
Semrush Local
Semrush Local suits a business or agency that already lives in Semrush. Base is $30 and Pro is $60 per location per month, billed annually, and portfolios of 20 or more locations go to a custom Business plan. It includes AI review auto-replies, post and photo scheduling, and a Map Rank Tracker on a credit allowance: 375 credits on Base, 1,225 on Pro. Pro adds review monitoring, review requests by SMS or email, monitoring of other people’s edits to the profile, and listing sync to 70 plus directories. Branded reports are a $20 a month add-on. There is no fake review or suspension workflow.
Localo
Localo is the value pick for owners and small agencies. Single Business is $39 a month, and Pro plans cover 10, 30, 60, or 120 profiles for $69, $149, $249, or $399 a month before VAT, with a 14-day trial without a card and a 30-day money-back guarantee. You get post scheduling for Google and Facebook, a Position Map for rankings, review reply templates with a brand voice, protection against unwanted profile changes, and tracking of reviews Google removes. Review requests are a QR poster rather than emails, and there is no suspension or fake review workflow.
Synup
Synup has rebuilt itself around an AI agent that does the work, metered by credits. Solo is $49 a month for one location, Premium $299 for up to 10, Pro $499 for up to 25, and Scale $899 for up to 50; above that it is a conversation, and there is a 14-day trial on Solo. It covers AI replies, review monitoring, posting and photos to Google, review requests by email and SMS, a Local Rank Grid, listings, and white-label from Premium up, and you can flag fake reviews from the inbox. There is no suspension workflow.
Merchynt Paige
Paige is an AI autopilot for one profile at $99 a month per business, billed monthly, free for the first 3 days. It posts weekly, adds photos, replies to reviews, tells you when the profile changes, sends review requests by SMS, email, or WhatsApp, and includes heatmap rank reports. Citations are a $40 a month add-on, the agency program is $100 a month, and 10 or more locations are quoted individually. Suspensions and fake reviews are left to you.
Moz Local
Moz Local is a listings distribution tool first. Each location needs its own subscription at $20, $30, or $40 a month for Lite, Preferred, and Elite, or $199 to $399 a year, and it pushes listings to 90 plus directories in the US, UK, and Canada. Every plan has review monitoring and a Local Grid; posting to Google and Facebook and review requests start on Preferred, and AI replies are a $10 a month add-on. Moz showed a sale banner when we checked, so these prices may be promotional.
Local Falcon
Local Falcon is the geo-grid specialist. Plans from $24.99 a month buy credits with unlimited locations and keywords, grids run from 3 by 3 up to 21 by 21 points, and 100 free credits let you try it without a card. It has added an agent that schedules posts and thanks 4 and 5 star reviewers, a guard that watches for unauthorized edits, and white-label reports. It does not do citations, review requests, or recovery work.
Birdeye and Yext
Both are built for brands with many locations, and both put pricing behind a demo. Birdeye bundles AI review replies that post on their own or wait for approval, review requests by voice, email, and text, listings on the major sites, and white-label for resellers. Yext connects listings to 200 plus publishers, sends AI review responses, cross-posts to Google, and offers white-label through its reseller program. Neither offers a suspension or fake review workflow.
GMB Everywhere
GMB Everywhere is a Chrome extension for research, not a management platform. It shows competitor categories, audits profiles, reviews, and posts, checks rank from a single point, and generates review replies you paste in yourself. The free plan has 5 views a month; Power User is $30 a month, or $15 a month billed annually. Nothing runs when the browser is closed, which is fine for research and not what you want for running profiles.

Which one should you pick?
- You sell ranking reports and citation cleanup: BrightLocal, or Moz Local if directories are the main job.
- You only need a rank map: Local Falcon.
- You already pay for Semrush and manage a handful of locations: Semrush Local.
- You are one business on a tight budget: Localo, or Merchynt if you want it fully hands off.
- You are a brand with hundreds of locations and an enterprise budget: Yext or Birdeye.
- Your clients get suspended, hit with fake reviews, or stuck on verification, and you want the weekly work handled too: GMB Helper.ai.
Plenty of agencies run two tools: a tracker for the monthly ranking report and an operating tool for the work. That is a reasonable setup, and nothing in any of these products stops you from doing it.
Is there software that gets a suspended profile reinstated?
This was the answer that surprised us most while checking. None of the other ten tools offers a reinstatement workflow: their sites either do not mention suspensions or point to a guide. The usual options are Google’s own appeal form, a done-for-you reinstatement service, or a blog post. Among the eleven tools here, GMB Helper.ai is the one that runs the reinstatement as a case inside the software, from the document checks to the appeal and the follow-up if Google says no. Google still makes the decision, and no tool can promise the outcome.
How we checked
We opened each vendor’s pricing and feature pages on 19 October 2026 and recorded only what they state. Where a page did not say, the table says not listed rather than guessing. Prices are monthly in US dollars unless noted, and some vendors show lower prices for annual billing. If you spot something out of date, email support@gmbhelper.ai and we will correct it.
