OneUp alternative

A OneUp alternative for agencies that need more than a posting calendar

OneUp is a good, inexpensive scheduler, and on Google Business Profile it does more than most: offer and event posts, one post to many locations at once, posts that repeat, and replies to Google reviews with an AI suggestion. If posting is the job, the price is hard to argue with. GMB Helper.ai is built for the rest of the job: replies that go out without you, a daily check that nothing changed on the profile, and a case when a profile is suspended or hit with fake reviews.

OneUp pricing and features read from their site on 2026-10-20. They can change; check before you buy either.

What OneUp does well

OneUp schedules What’s New, offer, and event posts with every Google button type, adds images to the Photos section, and sends one post to many locations at once, chains included, with each location’s own website link dropped into its button. Posts can repeat on any interval, and event and offer dates move forward with each repeat. You can read and answer Google reviews in the same app, with an AI suggested reply in English or the reviewer’s language. It also posts to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, X, Threads, and more from one calendar, takes bulk uploads from CSV files, and adds post approvals with email notices from the Intermediate plan up.

What is different about GMB Helper.ai

GMB Helper.ai only works on Google Business Profiles, and it runs them without someone at the keyboard. Each photo you upload becomes one update post, written for that location and never reused, on the days you pick per location or for many locations at once; posts publish on their own or wait as drafts for approval. Reviews are answered in the client’s voice as they arrive, with Hybrid mode holding 1 to 3 star replies for a person. The profile is compared to Google every day and you are emailed when something changes. A suspension or a burst of fake reviews opens a case that drafts the appeal and files it on Google’s form through the GBP Autopilot extension.

Pricing

OneUp

Basic $25 a month for 5 accounts, Intermediate $60 for 15, Growth $120 for 30, and Business $300 for 80, or $15, $48, $84, and $240 a month billed yearly. Each Google Business Profile location counts as one account, even when several share one Google login. Extra accounts are $5, $4, $3, or $1 a month by plan, Enterprise starts at $1,000 a month, and every plan has a 7-day free trial (read 2026-10-20).

GMB Helper.ai

Standard $399/month for up to 10 profiles and 3 users. Growth $1,499/month for up to 100 profiles and Scale $4,999/month for up to 500, both with unlimited users. Owners from $99/month for one profile. 7-day free trial, no card.

OneUp is far cheaper. Ten locations fit on Intermediate at $60 a month against our $399, and 80 fit on Business at $300 against our $1,499 for 100. If scheduling posts and answering reviews by hand is the whole service, OneUp is the better buy. The difference pays for replies that go out on their own, the daily change check, and the suspension and fake review cases.

The same bad week

A client’s profile is suspended on a Tuesday and four fake reviews land on Thursday

With OneUp

OneUp does not watch the profile for changes and has no reinstatement workflow, so nothing in it opens a case when the profile is suspended. The appeal is yours to research and file on Google’s form, with documents gathered over email. The four reviews show up in the reviews tab with a suggested reply, which is the wrong move for a review that should not exist, and reporting them is a manual job in Google’s dashboard, one at a time.

With GMB Helper.ai

The daily check raises the suspension the day it happens and pauses posting on that location. The reinstatement case collects the documents through a no-login link to the client, checks them against the profile and the website, drafts the appeal, and files it with the GBP Autopilot extension. The four reviews are flagged as suspicious on arrival, held from automatic replies, bundled into one case as a coordinated attack, reported and appealed from your browser, and tracked until Google removes or keeps each one.

Pick OneUp if

  • You post the same content to Google, Facebook, Instagram, and other networks, and want one calendar for all of it.
  • You send one offer or event to many locations at once, or upload posts in bulk from a spreadsheet.
  • The budget is tight and someone on your team answers reviews by hand.

Pick GMB Helper.ai if

  • The Google profile is what clients pay you for, and you want it run without someone at the keyboard.
  • You want every review answered in the client’s voice, with low ratings read by a person first.
  • Suspensions, fake review waves, or failed verifications are part of a normal month for your clients.

Switching

Moving a portfolio over

  1. 1Keep OneUp if you post to Facebook, Instagram, or other networks for clients. GMB Helper.ai only works on Google Business Profiles.
  2. 2Connect the client Google accounts in GMB Helper.ai and import the locations you manage.
  3. 3Stop Google posts and review replies in OneUp for those locations first, so no profile is posted to twice and no review gets two replies, then set brand voice, Hybrid reply mode, and posting days.
  4. 4Upload a few months of photos per location so the schedule has something to post, and turn on daily change alerts and review removal alerts.

The honest verdict

OneUp is the better scheduler, and it is cheap: one calendar for every network, one post to many locations, repeating offers and events, and CSV uploads. GMB Helper.ai is the better tool when the Google profile is what you sell: replies that go out without you, a daily check on every field, and cases for suspensions and fake reviews. Plenty of agencies will be right to keep OneUp for social and let us run the Google side.

Questions

Straight answers.

Does GMB Helper.ai post to Facebook or Instagram?

No. It only works on Google Business Profiles: posts, photos, reviews, daily checks, and recovery cases. If you post to other networks for clients, keep a social scheduler such as OneUp for that and let GMB Helper.ai handle the Google side.

OneUp can reply to Google reviews. What is the difference?

OneUp lets you read reviews and send a reply, with an AI suggestion you can edit. GMB Helper.ai writes and posts the reply on its own in each client’s voice, holds 1 to 3 star replies for a person in Hybrid mode, flags suspicious reviews instead of answering them, and tells you when a review disappears.

Can I send one post to all my locations?

Not as one post. GMB Helper.ai writes each post for one location, from that location’s own photos, on the posting days you set, and you can set those days for many locations at once. If you need the identical promotion on 50 profiles in one go, OneUp does that better.
