Synup alternative

A Synup alternative for agencies whose Google profiles get suspended and attacked

Synup is a broad local marketing platform built around an AI agent: listings on Google, Apple, Bing, Facebook, and 100 plus publishers, reviews from 30 plus sites, social posting, review requests, a rank grid, and white-label for agencies, at public per-location prices. It is cheaper than us and covers more ground. What it does not do is get a suspended Google profile back or build the case against fake reviews. That is where GMB Helper.ai starts.

What Synup does well

Synup does a lot for the money. Its agent drafts review replies in your brand voice for you to approve, pulls reviews from 30 plus sites, sends review requests by email, SMS, QR code, and link with A2P 10DLC registration handled in the app, and posts to Google Business Profile plus Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Threads, Pinterest, TikTok, Bluesky, and Mastodon. Listings sync to Google, Apple, Bing, Facebook, and more, a 7 by 7 rank grid tracks map positions against competitors, and Google verification is guided step by step. Every plan includes every feature, and white-label with custom domains and branded emails starts at Premium.

What is different about GMB Helper.ai

GMB Helper.ai covers one platform, Google, and goes deep on the parts that break. Reviews are answered in each client’s voice as they arrive, with Hybrid mode posting the good ones and holding 1 to 3 star replies for a person. Suspicious reviews are flagged on arrival, held from replies, and turned into a case that writes the policy argument, files the report and the appeal from your browser, and confirms removal. Every profile is compared to Google daily, field by field. A suspended profile gets a reinstatement case with document checks, a drafted appeal, and filing on Google’s form. Plans are sized by profile count; only map scans, articles, and Reddit mention discovery use credits.

Pricing

Synup

Solo $49 a month for 1 location, Premium $299 for up to 10, Pro $499 for up to 25, and Scale $899 for up to 50, with about 20% off billed yearly; over 50 locations is contract pricing. Every plan has every feature, and plans differ by monthly AI credits and agent capacity. White-label from Premium. The 14-day free trial covers the Solo plan only; Premium is charged when you subscribe (read 2026-10-20).

GMB Helper.ai

Standard $399/month for up to 10 profiles and 3 users. Growth $1,499/month for up to 100 profiles and Scale $4,999/month for up to 500, both with unlimited users. Owners from $99/month for one profile. 7-day free trial, no card.

Synup is cheaper at every size we can compare: $299 against our $399 at 10 locations, and $899 for 50 against our $1,499 for 100. It also covers listings, other review sites, SMS requests, and social posting, which we do not. The difference buys the suspension and fake review cases and the daily field-by-field check. If your clients never need those, Synup is the better deal.

The same bad week

A client’s profile is suspended on a Tuesday and four fake reviews land on Thursday

With Synup

Synup’s connection health alert catches the suspended connection, which is a useful early warning, but there is no reinstatement workflow; the appeal is filed by hand on Google’s form with documents gathered over email. The four reviews land in the inbox, where you can flag them as fake, and the agent can draft replies to them. Building the case that they are a coordinated attack, appealing a refusal, and tracking each one to an outcome is left to you.

With GMB Helper.ai

The standing check raises the suspension the day it happens and pauses posting. A reinstatement case collects the paperwork, checks it against the profile and the website, drafts the appeal, and files it with the GBP Autopilot extension. The reviews are flagged as they land, cased together as one attack with the policy named per review, reported and appealed from your browser, and tracked to a removed or kept outcome. You get an email at each step and a reminder if Google goes quiet.

Pick Synup if

  • You sell listings across Apple, Bing, Facebook, and other directories, not just Google.
  • You want reviews from 30 plus sites, review requests by SMS, and social posting in one tool.
  • You want a rank grid in the same place, at a low price per location.

Pick GMB Helper.ai if

  • Suspensions, fake review waves, or failed verifications are part of a normal month for your clients.
  • You want negative reviews read by a person and every other reply posted in the client’s voice.
  • You manage more than 50 profiles and want a published price instead of a contract.

Switching

Moving a portfolio over

  1. 1Keep Synup if listings on other directories, reviews from other sites, or social posting are part of what you sell. GMB Helper.ai does not replace those.
  2. 2Connect the client Google accounts in GMB Helper.ai and import the locations you manage.
  3. 3Turn off review replies and Google posts in Synup for those locations, so no review gets two replies and no profile gets two sets of posts, then set brand voice and Hybrid reply mode per client.
  4. 4Turn on daily change alerts, review removal alerts, and spam flagging per location.

The honest verdict

Synup is the broader platform and the cheaper one, and for agencies that sell listings, reviews across many sites, and social posting it is a strong pick. GMB Helper.ai is narrower and goes deeper on the Google profile: replies tuned to each client, a daily check on every field, and suspensions and fake reviews handled as cases with the filing done from your browser. Agencies paid to get profiles back often run both.

Questions

Straight answers.

Is GMB Helper.ai cheaper than Synup?

No. Synup Premium is $299 a month for up to 10 locations against our $399, and Scale is $899 for up to 50 against our $1,499 for up to 100. Above 50 locations Synup moves to contract pricing, while our plans are published up to 500 profiles.

Does GMB Helper.ai manage listings on other directories?

No. The website audit checks that the name, phone, and address on the website match the Google profile, but we do not publish to Apple, Bing, Facebook, or other directories. If that is part of your service, Synup does it and we do not.

Synup can flag fake reviews. What does GMB Helper.ai add?

A flag is the first step. GMB Helper.ai flags suspicious reviews on arrival and holds them from replies, then builds a case: the policy each review breaks, a write-up of the pattern when several land together, the report and the appeal filed from your browser through the GBP Autopilot extension, and a check on whether Google removed or kept each one.

Is there a free trial?

Seven days, no card, on every plan. Synup’s 14-day trial covers its Solo plan.
